They are an amazing police department with very dedicated men and women who risk their lives everyday. To keep all of us safe starting with the Chief she is one of the best and happy to she got the position. Appointing her as chief made history in the city. Thank you VPD and Lowndes County sheriff's department.
Followed a funeral procession out of Valdosta GA today. I was so impressed with the Valdosta city and county police/sheriff departments in their respectfulness and professionalism as they stood outside their vehicles and the perfect execution of transitioning from city escorts to county. With our military only have I viewed such a wonderful display of what it means to serve. I don't know the person who is being laid to rest, but they were treated with such reverence. And as my husband said, we will all have to take that ride one day. I hope my escorts will be as caring of my journey. With everything that's going on in our world and gap between community and law enforcement, this was welcoming and meaningful in allowing me to hope for a genuine connection between both.
My uber driver got an attitude
Some are decent, some aren't. Some are competent and some just aren't good at their job and have not so great people skills. Most if not all of them think and will act as if they are above the law and beyond reproach and that's is a dangerous cop. One that not only doesn't respect civil rights, but also doesn't treat people fairly in general.
My daughter was put in jail when her ex husband called them and said she had scratched his arm that he had actually scratched when working on his car.nThey are stupid.
