Officer Whitlock was very helpful, stopped when he saw us struggling to jump start the car, was polite and kind. Helped and got the car started.

I called Campus PD for help unlocking a booked meeting room on campus. The officer that answered the call was very rude to me. I called the wrong number and I said it wasn’t an emergency but he continued to lecture me and raise his voice after I apologized for calling the incorrect number. I called the other number later to ask for help and the same officer answered in a rude tone and raised his voice again. When an officer came to open the door, he was being rude. This is not a professional way to handle a simple request. Students don’t feel comfortable asking for help if they are spoken down to in a rude demeanor.
