Love buying my building supplies here. And actually better prices than the big box stores... and I don't have to drive all the way to Cornelia. Always helpful and friendly staff. And a lot of times,they have stuff that the big box stores don't. Love shopping local.

I live only 10 miles from Habersham Hardware. Normally for smaller things I go to a small hardware store in nearby Helen, GA. But today I couldn't get there before they were closed so I went to Habersham Hardware in Clarkesville. I have been a customer at Habersham Hardware for over 35 years. Today I had to wait 15 minutes before anyone even asked if I needed help. Then I could not find what I was looking for (Paul Reeves always kept a full assortment of specialty hardware and the staff was always very helpful). Then when I did finally fine some of the items I needed, I got extreme sticker shock! The prices are not cheap at all! The small hardware store in Helen has much cheaper prices and the staff is always extremely helpful . I will definitely do without before I visit Habersham Hardware again.
I'm not from the area just stopped in to get a ground rod for a job I was working on. People are very friendly and helpful but when I asked for a ground rod no one was sure what I was talking about. I finally found it myself.
