I recently met Officer Dubois and his partner, Officer Maddox from this department. I wanted to let others know how wonderful I was treated by these fine officers.nLate last night I pulled off the side of the road to use the phone. It was a wooded area isolated and unlit. They wanted to make sure everything was ok and decided to check on me. It was such a pleasant experience meeting these two officers!nThey were so polite, kind and respectful that it reinforced my great opinion of law enforcement.nThe police really do care about others. They deserve to be thanked, so they know how much we appreciate them. To them protecting others isn't a choice, it's their duty.

This police department over the years has persecuted youth in ways you couldn't imagine. To spare the details, many individuals I am acquainted with were arrested or searched outside of legal and ethical means. I have experienced harassment by the same force personally.nnHowever, it seems in more recent times they've started to lose their tiger mom complex and have become more humanitarian. I hope this trend continues for them as it will reflect better on this city and it's citizens.

One night in 2015 I was walking 5 miles home from my work on injured legs. I was exhausted and in pain so I stuck my thumb out to try to get a ride. A PTC Police Officer stopped and gave me a ride home. This left a lasting impression. Thanks guys and gals, and stay safe!
