We were so happy to find Rockfish Wildlife Sanctuary for our baby squirrel, Rocky, who walked up to us yesterday early evening. It was important to find a good place for him to be well taken care of.nThis morning when calling, I immediately knew when speaking with Sarah that this was the right place and drove an hour and a half to the Sanctuary. The whole vibe with Rockfish has been very cool from the beginning, Sarah was super nice, informative and made sure Rocky was looked at by the team right away. It was such a nice experience!nStay safe, Rockfish - you're amazing . thank you for all you do for the wildlife!!!

Wonderful place nestled back in the corners of Nelson county. I had an injured turtle that needed transport to medical Care and they were more than willing to help. Very knowledgeable and seem to be very dedicated as well

Found a baby opossum in the lawn all alone in daytime probably runt of litter & too weak to hold onto MommanCalled a wildlife rehabilator near us told us to call here & take it there.nHusband drove the baby there wrapped in a towel with hot hands hand warmer inside a cat carrier, gave them a donation & let them keep the carrier.nHaven't heard from them, so praying the baby makes it❤ufe0fnThey were wonderful on phone & in person!nHusband said it was a very nice place & they were very welcoming & knew just what to do!nPlease, if you ever find any sort of wildlife...do not try to feed it or keep it, keep it warm and call a wildlife rehabilitator near you right away!ud83dudc4d

This group of folks are phenomenal. I had a group of fledgling nutchatches fall from their nest. I drove them an hour and thirty minutes to Rockfish Wildlife Sanctuary. They took them in and gave them a second chance. So glad I found them when needed.
