Desert Dome is one of my favorite exhibits at the NC Zoo. It offers a more complete habitat than is usually possible at a zoo. There are birds, lizards, turtles, snakes and native plants that make you feel like you're in a desert setting. A must see at the NC Zoo!
Beautiful desert inside of the dome. They even had a porcupine show which was awesome. It was a African porcupine and it was huge.
Not my favorite part of the zoo but interesting to look at. A nice break from the cold weather outside.
Good place to visit. We got caught in the rain but it was still alright. Alot of the animals were taking shelter so we didn't get it see all.
A little warm but that's the idea. Wonderful place
