Fish Viewing Center

Early in the season so not many fish to see. Beautiful area to hike along the Salmon River. Lots of moss and ferns.

The fish viewing center sits inside the Wildwood Recreation Area. There is a cascade streamwatch trail of which it is part. The trail is paved and winds along the Salmon River with lots of view points, secluded picnic areas and bathrooms. The fish viewing center is not on the Salmon River, but rather a small creek feeding into the river where juvenile Salmon can be viewed. The river watch trail would be a good place to view spawning salmon in the fall.

Nice quiet nature walk. Lush with everything green. The walk paths along the river are soothing. Camp Host was an amazing couple. Super sweet and informative about the park area.

Great addition to have on a hike.
