The State park is nice with large trees and right on river. The bad thing is the boat ramp at the dock. The launch surface under the water has been badly deteriorated and leans heavily to the port side of your boat. Launching isn't a problem, but pulling your boat out is near impossible. I had to get into the water to my belly to hold the boat in position on a trailer listing near 35 degrees. One of the bunks broke as the boat rested on it and twisted when settling as the truck pulled it out. Most people don't pull out at the dock and drive their boats on their trailers near the far shore where the bottom is flat.

Not much to offer. Good for boating if you have one, but we don't. Just stopped by to check it out.

Mayer State Park always would pop up for me to review. For some reason I didn’t realize that Rowena Crest was part of it. But Duh!nnSo yea the view eastward is the best around. The wildflowers are awesome in the spring. The trail down to Rowena point is cool but watch for ticks. The trail up to Tom McCall point is super nice.

5 stars for the view. No amenities here but awesome view. Can often be windy so dress accordingly if you plan to walk around a bit.

Very nice and right on the river. Has a good boat ramp and several parking spaces. Pit toilets were clean, but a little stinky in the hot summer sun.
