We are absolutely coming back to the hotel. Knowing they are a dog friendly hotel I was thinking the rooms might be a little run down. Not sure my dog even knew other dogs staying there. The staff were all great and the grounds were amazing. Best part is the hotel seemed to be full of German Shorthair pointers!
Always a pleasure to seat outside, and watching the river while eating, or just having a drink!
Adorable pup to help show you around, food is delicious, rooms are beautiful, and to top it off you get an amazing view!
We went on a 3-day rafting trip with our family. It was great. We ended up floating the first day, then hanging out in camp the second day, then finishing the float on the last day. This was a modification to original itinerary of floating each day to make sure we were able to get a camp site b/c the river was so busy.nnSuper fun trip. We had Phil as our guide and Jason with the gear boat. They were attentive to our needs and engaging with our children. We are planning to come back again next year.
I was there for an overnight astronomical observing campaign, so I was sleeping when most others were doing daytime activities. Nevertheless, I was really impressed by the attention to detail obvious in just about everything. If business or pleasure ever takes me back to Maupin, I will stay there again in a heartbeat!
