Shilo Inns The Dalles

Old soul miss the falls and the peoples in it .....other than the inn across the highway there was nothing offering tribute to celilo falls mosquito and the natives that worked those platforms under bridge why ????nThey were my friends.nMy baby and I swam and fished those docks with the people as their guest its sad how it all has disappeared......maybe show some history .....you have a jewel underneath your feet please show them some respect somehow pictures in rooms and halls old be nice .nI grew up looking at the photos of the falls and the Indians working those long pole dipping nets it was something they did 24/7 the footsteps of my family gave us rites not enjoyed by many and it was a privilege to participate in ......God blessnnWe did enjoy our stay .....4 stars pics would have got ya a perfect score.

Very professional and courteous. Rooms were large, well appointed, and very clean! Great continental breakfast, a great stay all the way around. And really reasonably priced. Will absolutely stay again!

Very open and lots of sunlight for all rooms. The 1800s church ruins behind the hotel were great to explore. Just down the street is a nice gas station and the McDonald's is just a bit further down and that drive through was quick. Hotel has easy on and off highway access which is handy

i speak for myself and others when i say that the shilo in was great. what stood out even more then the fantastic accommodations such as free computer and printing was the great positive attitudes and personalities of the managers and working staff. throughout my week of stay i was able to observe and overhear from other guests stories about instances of difficult circumstances that were handled and taken care of brilliantly. if felt right at home and was enlighten during the brief conversations at the front desk . i felt like i was at Downton abbey !

The nachos are pretty good the full order is substantial. However, the salsa that comes with it can hardly be called salsa. Fresh made salsa with some heat to it would make it great. Room was clean, staff was nice and helpful.
