Great place to take your dogs for a little adventure and hiking along the trails or set out on your own. Take lots of water! Very peaceful. Lots of paved parking and picnic areas too. It's a big enough place where you'll have to go back a couple of times in order to see most of it. I've been back twice and I'm planning to return again and again.

Great place to hike even by yourself as there is lots of people and traffic, nearby. Easy to moderate trails and easy parking off McDowell (if your lucky enough to get a spot there). Happy Trails...ud83dudc99ud83cudf0fud83eudd38‍♀ufe0f :D

Three years ago, I moved to Phoenix when found this place since then I fell in loved. It was the first place I visited. I wanted to do more outdoor hikes this worked out perfect that practically live down the streets from this beautiful nature. I took my sister and her family here. The everyone loved it. It’s clean, it’s friendly, The rocks, the pavement made it easy to follow, the trail signs for bikes and runners. I come here every weekend if not everyday to enjoy the sunset and get my Apple Watch fitness rings to closed. Great for date night or a quite time walk. Only cons small parking. You might have get creative in finding parking at the zoo. God bless!

Papago is one of my favorite spots. It has ponds with birds and fish and they are a great place to hang out. Lots of pretty trails make for great hiking. The hole in the rock is a popular tourist spot. You can see the park, downtown Phoenix and Sky Harbor Airport from there. And it's perfectly sized for families. Kids can keep up. Can be crowded on weekends.
