I hadn't been here in some time and decided to bring my little guy. So much fun! He loved feeding all the animals. The price is very reasonable. Expect to run through the whole place in about an hour and a half at a leisurely pace. Get there at opening to avoid the crowd.
It was very fun and informative. I was bit by an ostrich, but that might have been my fault. The bunnies are adorable, they will swarm your hand. The ducks were awesome, they would come up to you and eat very aggressively. The goats were super funny, the goats would quiver their lips trying to be fed. Sheep were really funny, as well. The birds were cool, they would land on you.
This is a great place to take family. So cheap and fun. Lots of cool animals to see. I do worry about the sting rays and ducks. I don't think humans should have aquarium type animals in the desert. It feels unethical. This place does seem to really care for and take care of their animals. But still animals deserve huge natural like environments. The ostriches and goats seem happy. The sting rays and ducks I'm not so sure about. Still, didn't feel as bad as a zoo. I would go again. The parakeets are amazing.
We stopped at this place coming back from Tucson and were pleasantly surprised. The kids loved feeding the animals and the interaction they could have. We loves the Lorikeets and Stingrays. Very fun place for adults and kids alike. Clean and animals are well cared for. Definitely would take the kids back as it was reasonably priced.
The BEST roadtrip stop you'll ever make!! May or May not be an exaggeration depending on how exciting your life has been ud83dude02 but in all seriousness this place is incredible!! From the moment we walked in, we had a great experience. First impression, very clean! the woman working greeted us and kindly gave us the rundown of how it all works, and then sent us on our way to experience the animals. It is SO MUCH fun. The animals are so silly and cheeky, they know how to work to get extra pellets. Definitely worth a stop if you're driving by, and i would even say its worth the drive to it even if its not on the way. We spent 2+ hours really taking our time and enjoying and lots of laughing. Will definitely be back!
