What a wonderful local resource. We went to the El Camino Real trade fair today, but we've been there before as well. Fascinating look at early New Mexico history.
The Fall Festival is always lots of fun. For city folks it's a chance to relax outside, eat prune pie and Indian oven bread, and shop for natural products. Nice emphasis on the history of the Camino Real this year.
Finding this place was a really pleasant surprise. I encountered it when attending a Fermentation Fair. Going inside I could see that this building was very well restored. It gives an indication of what this family live it was able to live like quite a long time ago in the Southwest. Not your typical family but a glimpse into how the rich folks lived. Still, very interesting place with some fascinating history.
We used this museum/ historical place for a Small event and it was great facility!!
