Whimsical, magical, eclectic and unusually fabulous. My name is Roger Browning and I wrote the book, titled 'The Reckoning of Rance.' A story of a modern day Texas family who experience trouble and dysfunction to a level of self destruction. A story that of a western, but not of a western, but more a troubled family saga as they struggle inwardly to bring their world down, but enough of that. I am writing this because it was that very book that brought me here. I was on my way to deliver autographed copies of it when I discovered this absoulutely unique museum nestled back in the trees so beautiful and placed there by its creator founder for his own private viewing at first, but then for everyones pleasure later to see. So many things to see. So many miniature settings to view and the nature of it so unique. Do not miss this place. It is a must see. My name is Roger Browning and my novel is now out on amazon and is titled' The Reckoning of Rance.'

A true hidden treasure in NM. Can't believe I've never been here before

This place is different and a little strange but it's quite amazing. For the most part it is many dioramas and thousands of interesting things you have to look carefully to even see a tenth of them. Make sure you talk to the people there. The sailboat 10-year trip information is amazing. Yes this place is kind of rustic I really didn't mind and had to go back again.

Our family of 6 hadn't been here since we were a family of 4! Our 2 little ones loved it! Our daughters still love it ( even the teenage one )!!! The drive up is always nice & the staff is still amazing! I personally have been coming here for 40 years. Definitely a MUST DO when in Albuquerque.
