Palomino Motel

Had to stop in the middle of the trip at 2am, manager was very nice and got us in a room quick. The bed was clean and comfy, the room was a bit dated but we didn't mind since all we were doing was sleeping. Shower was nice although the tile was very cold. We didn't touch the thermostat so I think we had the AC on which was fine, the unit was just a bit loud when kicking on so not the best for light sleepers. Very good place for a quick sleep in the middle of a trip, I don't think I would recommend for longer stays. Definitely a good deal for $45

I stopped and just needed a little bit of sleep the lady was very rude, she didn't like the idea of me having kids cause her rooms get destroyed. She showed us one room and it definitely wasn't 5 stars or even 1. If I wasn't so tired I would of definitely took my business elsewhere.

I don’t know who gave this place over 1 star. There was literal BLOOD STAINS on the bed! It was extremely dirty, bugs everywhere (on the mattress and in the bathroom), looked like it haven’t been cleaned since the 1800’s. There were people’s trash from the last visit. Especially during COVID I wish they would take cleaning more seriously. The one star is for the mattress, it was pretty comfy. The lady who owns it was nice and welcoming.
