Motel Safari

We love this place! Just spent our second time there and had a great overnight stop while on a trip out west. The front desk service is very friendly. The rooms have been renovated between our first and second trips and are filled with neat details. 10/10 would do again!

Awesome place! Rooms are immaculate, and decked out in cool retro stuff. Definitely the place to stay if you want a nostalgic Route 66 experience. Guy at the front desk. (I’m assuming it was the owner) Went out of his way to give me access to a laundry area that was under renovation. Now that’s service! I would give 10 stars if I could.

I don’t normally write reviews, but this place was so great I had to. The room had great amenities- comfy bed, great shower pressure, and a Bluetooth speaker. It was a smooth check-in and we were able to park right in front of our room which was great for us since we wanted to keep an eye on our Uhaul. The room was clean and tidy with some fun motel character. We had great restaurants within walking distance which was also nice.nnThe best part was the service! The owner and his dog were wonderful greeters and very welcoming. When we were leaving, we forgot an item in the room after we checked out. As we were eating breakfast, we got a call from the owner to let us know he found it. We were planning to go back after we ate, but he went above and beyond and dropped it off at the restaurant we were at.nnHighly recommend!

The reviews are 100% accurate! Our stay exceeded our expectations. We booked the rockabilly suite and it is just perfect. Extreme detail and care was put into this room, the picture was our living room area. Beautifully restored vintage decor and furniture. We ended up deciding to get to go food for dinner because we wanted to spend more time in the room. Can't wait to visit again. Thank you!

I'm a bit of a germaphobe and I have a black light and I'm here to tell you that this is the cleanest motel I have ever stayed in!! I highly recommend this very friendly, comfortable place to stay. We will be back this summer for a family reunion and I will tell my family it's the best. Enjoy your stay as much as we did.
