Super 8 by Wyndham Tucumcari

This one was recommended to us by family. I'll start with the positives: the staff was nice. It was clean, enough. But our room was pretty rough. The bed was like a trampoline, way too bouncy. The toilet was practically on the floor. I don't know how my senior family members with bad knees left that detail out. They taped over the A/C sensor, not sure why, and a wall outlet was covered by tape. And the funniest, yet scariest thing of all was the bathroom fan literally screamed at me when I turned it on. The breakfast selection was sad. We expected there to be eggs and bacon or something like that when we were there before 8:30am. I couldn't find anything online, in the room, or on my receipt about breakfast hours, so who knows.

Where to even begin.. The beds fold under you when you sit down. There were only 3 half sized pillows per bed, and with two to a bed, that was quite a problem. The ac unit was extremely loud and kept waking us up all night, not to mention how the wind was able to howl through the vents. The upstairs customers were only walking around but we heard every step and creak without buffer. The whole place smelled like weed for several hours. The large circular door jam was smashed and apparently no one thought a hole in the wall was a problem. The lamp couldn't be turned on without the ceiling lights because of how the switch is worked. The vanity outlet didn't work and the reset button was broken. The pool is empty and no access, there is no hot breakfast at all. And I've found cheaper and better hotels than this before, so I feel like these were reasonable expectations for the price they charged.nLike. There's so much false advertising here I feel like we should try to get our money back but we had to get on the road early with little to no sleep.nnWould not recommend, steer clear.

Very nice hotel that allows pets and doesn't overcharge for a one-night stay. I booked through my T-Mobile app and had two king size bedrooms for $62 a piece. Both rooms were very clean, the hallways were clean, it was quiet, it was safe and I would recommend it to anyone.nnMy only beef was that the side exit that I went out was the smoking area for the maids. While I appreciate them stepping outside, they should have made it off the beaten path and not the door to the parking lot.

Great service. Rooms not great but considering the price I would stay again!! Just outdated. But great beds. Great people.

Not bad for the rate. Comfortable beds. Easy to find off interstate. No breakfast because of COVID. Was understandable. Pet friendly. Would stay again
