Billy The Kid Museum

This was one of the best museums I have seen for the period they represent. The antiques were fenominal. This family should be very proud of their achievement in preserving history in the west. Thank you we had a fantastic time walking through the museum.

There was so much more than Billy the Kid at the museum. It is a show case of items from the late 1800's to the mid 1900's. Very enjoyable and worth the stop!

Excellent window into a bygone era. Lovingly curated knickknacks from the past couple of centuries. A 'must see' for any Western fan.

All the old things was awesome. It had so much of things about Billy the kid But everything in store was over priced. My mother got 5 items and it cost over $80.00. And they didn't even give her an itemized recipe. And because of that I gave this place 1 star. So the museum 5 star and the store a 1 star. We all got hit with this pandemic don't mean you have to over charge people.

What a fabulous collection of history! The knowledge Don Sweet has and passion for the history of Fort Sumner was a truly great find. A hidden gem for sure!
