Quite, convenient spot to camp. Clean pit toilets. No Verizon signal but at the trailhead.

A very peaceful place, except for the elk bugling all night. The campsite had a nice composite table and fire ring. The outhouse facilities were exceptionally clean and there was water available at the time we were there. A well signed, pleasant walk is available in the surrounding hills starting within the campground. This was the best $5 spent in some time!

Awesome hike...in the snow! We couldn't finish the full loop because as it was were following other's footprints...will be back to camp and do the full hike another time

The campground was very nice. My dog loved it. We used it as a jump off point to visit the VLA. We stayed at site 21 in October 2020. The site was quite large. The picnic table was made of concrete and had a roof over it. There was a fire pit and the campground was somewhat rustic. There were no hook ups for my 5th wheel and we had zero cell coverage on our Verizon phones. Great getaway location.
