Gave me a citation because they got my licence plate wrong. I had to spend 1 hour wasting my time to get it resolved. Terrible people, they should learn how to read.
rude and they are not here to protect but you cite you a ticket! Without the student the University wouldn't have careers so therefore you guys should treat the students in a good matter because we pay thousands of dollars just to come here. This is our University/HOME and CSUSM police should help students not make them pay more money for stupid citations.
Campus police is the friendliest group of officers I've ever met!! I've worked on them multiple times on campus as a student and they're always happy to help.
Most of these reviews are heavily biased. I have had bad experiences with parking tickets before, but this review is based on the experience of using the police department. It is a hassle to contact university police about anything other than a crime, i.e parking permit information, parking ticket information, adjudication process information. They are; however, very helpful in person.
These police will still write you up a ticket even enough you pay online!! Watch out... CSUSM is pretty money hungry and will make you jump through hoops to resolve their silly mistakes.
