Unfortunately we went to see it for ourselves because we thought that it would be very neat to see and we learned that it was closed. The websites and the Shell Lake visitor web page all need to update their sites. Because the museum is closed and looks like it has been for quite awhile. I even called the telephone number to get information and admission prices and I got a message stating that the number was no longer in service
Neat to see all the unique woodcarvings. Be aware, they were very strict as to what you could bring into the museum. It was a great one-time visit, but probably wouldn't go back again.
You get a special kind of feeling walking thru the museum
Very unique, interesting nugget for our state. Enjoyed very much very reasonable!
Good carving skills but was super creepy!!!
