Visited Tanner Glass & Hardware for the first time on Friday. Was pleasantly surprised at the variety of different products and hardware they carry. Great showroom with lots of examples to get ideas. Oh and they had the special two sided foam tape I needed for my project. Great Job Tanner. I will keep you in mind for my next project!

Somehow tanner glass keeps deleting my review. So posting AGAIN. Okay first off, the installers are absolutely a 10/10. So kind, nice, and considerate. This review has nothing against them however I feel like they should find another company to work for. I had an absolute terrible experience with the operations. I believe her name was Amy. Long story short, I handle majority of the bills. Amy asked her installers to hand the phone to me and was yelling at me about how she needs payment in next 10 minutes. I asked if I could put a check in the mail today after going through all the invoices which I was handed 5 minutes prior. She said if She didn’t get payment in the next 10 minutes that she would turn me into the attorney generals office. And not to mention, this was my first time even KNOWING that the bill was owed. I will admit that there were some miscommunications On our end where we needed a TV unscrewed to install a mirror and did not get it done in time. We will be paying the charges for making the installers come out. However, I don’t think it is EVER appropriate to talk to a customer the way she spoke to me. Especially with the fact I didn’t even know there was a situation to begin with. I consider myself a Very easy going person who doesn’t complain or even write bad reviews. Which speaks volumes about this situation. (I told her to go ahead and call the attorney general’s office and that there would be a check in the mail today.) we run multiple businesses where glass is needed and this was a trial. Good to know we will gladly be taking our business else where.

I had a small mirror break and brought it in to see what they could do. In 5 minutes they cut a mirror to fit it perfectly - and didn't charge me!! Great customer service!!

The knowledge and expertise of this shop is like no other. Not only do they always have lots of options for what I’m looking for but also make great suggestions on how to maybe do it better. Saving me both time and money in the long run. I really appreciate the lengths they go to to make my job easier with my clients and friends.

Beware! Tanner Glass says they will NOT warranty a product unless they installed it. I had the plastic on my shower door sweep separate after just 6 months of light use. Instead of easily replacing the defective part for which I had paid $20, and probably cost 50 cents to manufacture, they had three people come out and stand in a line in front of me and tell me that they would kindly sell me another one for just $20, now that they had raised the price to $25. Wow, for a couple of dollars they could have made a customer happy, instead of one who now tells the whole world on the Internet how Tanner doesn't stand behind what they sell. Additional Comment:The Tanner owner replied to my previous complaint with some interesting comments: "I am more than willing to replace the sweep for you if you want but unfortunately, like most glass companies, we have made it a policy to not warranty sweeps as a general rule. Again, my sincerest apologies and I wish you peace and happiness." So because I "tell the world" about this policy, NOW they say they WILL replace it. But they didn't reach out to me and offer to mail me one. I have to drive back in a third time and pick up a part that costs them so little? Why doesn't a reputable company already warranty sweeps that cost them so little, BEFORE customers complain? They give their "sincerest apologies" but no action to back up their words. If they really wish their customers "peace and happiness" as they wrote, don't you think they would warranty such an inexpensive part? "So I guess "peace and happiness" are empty words to just make them sound sincere and contrite. And if this small part fails so much that they don't want to guarantee them, why don't they help their customers be "peaceful and happy" by designing a more durable part?
