Food is always good but the wait at this location can get crazy. Order ahead and maybe don't be in a hurry.
This is one of the BEST city bbqs in town. Staff is great. Never had a wrong order. We eat their food at least once a month. Done in, Carry out, catering for company outings - always terrific.
I picked BBQ because it is typically fast and I had two hungry kids. We waited over an hour for our food - and the people getting takeout probably waited just as long. When we finally got our food, the meat was good but the sides were just ok.
Why does it take am hour and a half to serve a BBQ order? The nice thing about BBQ is that you make it ahead of time and simply plate the food when ordered. The BBQ isnt all that bad, but the service sure is. There wasn't a manager or anyone in sight dealing with the large crowd of unhappy people waiting on food. Terrible.
The food was delicious, but it was hard to enjoy it in the filthy restaurant. No tables were clean, floor under my chair was slippery on one side sticky on the other. Completely disgusting. If we planned on coming again it would be for curbside pickup, but we'll just go back to the Henderson Road location where we've never had a bad experience.nnReceived an email from mgmt that issues are being looked into. And I was offered compensation for the poor experience, which I declined. Great complaint handling process. It's always reassuring when a business is serious about maintaining excellent standards!
