Great time flying in 1930's aircraft. Great car show
Many older light planes on display you can get right up to, with owners nearby. Modest food truck offerings, including Young's ice cream. Decent classic car show. Good time of year to catch transients on their way to Oshkosh. This year the only flying P-82 Twin Mustang stopped by to get (a lot of) gas. (Not a regular feature, your mileage may vary.)
Just decided to show as my Daughter heard about the small car show. So we stopped as we were traveling to Dayton for a family event. Didn't know it was part of another event. We will consider visiting the next one next year.
Excellent event biplane rides rc plane show was nice to see, car show also a nice touch, very nice place for families to experience will return to the next event, thanks to all those envolved.
Are you interested in aviation? Go to this event! The host Dewey is a great individual, there is lots to look at and do for free. There is food and most importantly, Bi-plane rides!
