My brother who lives in Amityville is bedridden and the aide reported a problem with him starting to fall from the bed. The aide got him to a chair but knew she couldn't get him back in bed alone.nMy call to the Amityville Police was answered with great concern for my need. I was reassured that officers would be sent to the house to assist my brother. That happened and I am soooo grateful!!!

I’ve had to contact Amityville police a few times for both emergency and non emergency situations. In my experience they’ve always been very courteous and helpful.
