Stopped in for no particular reason. Ordered the patty melt, and my partner got the #96. Both were hands down the tastiest sandwiches ever. Just big enough to be a solid lunch, but no sides or extra nonsense to ruin your dinner. And the caramelized onions were incredible!
Nothing better than a warm grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup on a chilly day! I've been coming to the Melting Point for the past few years. The food is fantastic and really hits the spot! My favorite sandwich is the number 4 which is a mozzarella grilled cheese with tomato and basil pesto. The tomato soup is flavored perfectly but of course, I like my soup a little thicker than they make it. Sometimes the cheese isn't melted enough but it's still great.
The sandwiches are always stellar, and the burgers are just as abfab! The owner is awesome, and they're always playing fabulously obscure tunes when you go in! You'll never be disappointed!
Absolutely amazing sandwiches coupled with homemade tomato basil soup - perfection. Truly a staple of Allentown.
Seriously good sandwiches. My favorite is the No. 64 with bacon. Cheese, jalapenos, and bacon. What more can you ask for?
