There's usually parking available, so I will often board the train here. Otherwise, it's just a platform. The setup is such that you have to walk around the train from the parking lot to the platform, so leave an extra 5 minutes for this. Since it's the terminal stop, the train will sit for you there, which is nice. Except for rush hour trains, only the doors on the very far end of the train are open so you have to walk the entire length of the train to board. For rush hour trains, they'll often stop at the end of the platform to pick up passengers arriving just as the train is departing, which is really nice of the engineers. The platform has a covered waiting area, which is useful if it's raining and you've arrived before the train is at the station. However, if it's raining, watch out for puddles, as they form all over the platform. More than once, I've hit a puddle in the morning, jogging to catch the train, and ended up spending the entire day with soaked shoes and socks.
