This museum is amazing! The staff went above and beyond to make sure my nieces had a great time. There was always somebody there to share some knowledge or show a cool artifact. The kids loved it and I’ll definitely be back with friends!
Preserving the rich mineral history of the famous zinc mines of Franklin and Sterling Hill mines
Very beautiful museum! Many rocks from around the world are for sale or on display! There are rocks, crystals, and minerals that you wouldn’t imagine. The historical part of the museum is wonderful, such amazing artifacts, fossils, and tools. The people there are very friendly and are welcoming to everybody. I enjoy visiting every late spring when the weather is just right to excavate.
