A hidden gem. So much history in such a small place. Definitely come with time to spare so you can see everything.

A little difficult to find on the base if you don't know what you're looking for, but overall a great little museum. Collection of military weapons and uniforms is very impressive. Staff was very friendly and eager to answer questions about the collection.

A nice little gem located not far from Trenton. If you are into military history, particularly the history of the National Guard, this place has lots to offer.

Nicely maintained museum in the heart of Mercer county. Entrance and parking is free.

My Grandsons (Mark and Khay-Ri) and I went here in the summer of 2017. We had a great time learning about the military experience. They have a lot of equipment that they use, from the different types of uniforms they wear, to the items they put in they're backpacks to carry with them in the field, and the different types of firearms, aircraft, and automobiles they use. My Grandsons were so excited and we took many pictures, I even got a shot of them with a female soldier while we were in our travels that day, and they recognized her from one of the pictures we saw on the wall earlier in the day. It was a lot of fun and excitement for them and me. I had wanted to see a picture of a Black Hawk. When it was Hurricane Sandy in NJ, I believe in 2012, I was living near by here and I saw a Black Hawk fly over my head, it was huge and it looked like something you would see in the movies. Lol. I thought I would at least see a picture of what I had saw that day. None the least, I would recommend the National Guard Militia Museum to anyone that is interested, there is a lot of history and excitement there. Please go and enjoy yourself and learn. :-)
