I especially love the garden center of this Home Depot. During gardening months, the team does a great job taking care of the plants ... I often see them watering and tending plants and they are interested in helping customers find what they're looking for. They also play classical music overhead which makes for an enjoyable visit. They offer assistance with loading heavy items as well. Despite less variety and sometimes being short staffed, kudos to Home Depot.
Entirely untrained staff. Teens at the “help desk” could not be bothered to leave the desk to help us find an item. We went there for a simple lumber purchase, wood glue, and a lighting hanging tool. Of the four folks that we asked for help the only helpful person was the one who cut the wood. Even the check-out guy didn’t understand how to input the length of our timber purchase. Checking out was a long arduous process. Would not recommend. I was very very disappointed with my experience here.
I want to gave all five stars to David , the floor supervisor with glasses. Today I went to home depot in west Roxbury, MA for a angle connection, I had example at hand and couldnt find it, David helped me a lot. He checked the web, helping me find a replacement. I appreciate. I hope David can get promotion, because of employees like him, I want to shop at your store.
Terrible experience renting a truck from this store. Everything was fine to start, we went out to verify the gas level as you do with any rental. They have some trouble ringing me up and pass me off to another clerk who says he's putting it in as having just over a half a tank which I confirmed. After using the truck and filling it up to what I got it at I bring it back and while waiting in line I notice that the clerk who put in the info recorded just over 3/4 of a tank. Even though the women who originally went to the truck was there no one believes me that it had just over a half a tank and I knew the exact mileage I drove and the gas I put in was plenty to cover those miles. If you are looking to rent a truck make sure to document the tank level and CONFIRM they put it in correctly or else you'll get screwed like I did, even if the clerk that went to look at the truck is right there with you.
Horrible. I attempted to do curbside pickup from their website. It said many, many times that it was same day pickup. After about 6 hours and no update, I called the store to ask about it. After waiting on hold for 8 minutes, someone answered. They were difficult to understand but told me I needed to order 24 hours in advance (this was news to me). I then said that I’d like to cancel the order instead. From there, we hung up and not 30 seconds later I got an email saying thanks for picking up your order. Rather than dealing with the store employee, I decided to call the corporate number instead. This time they answered right away, I explained the situation and they said they needed to talk to someone at the store. 25 minutes on hold later and it kicks me out to the first menu and I got to do it all over again.nnTLDR, order from Amazon, it’s faster and they provide an incredible customer experience.
