I had a great experience with the team at Bobby & Steve’s in West Bloomington. They went above and beyond to diagnose the issue with my 2014 Audi A6. Although they were not able to determine the cause of the check engine light, they spent many hours and tried a few repairs before ultimately towing it to an Audi dealership and not charging me for their time. Very impressed with the ethics and determination of the entire team. The Audi service technician did find the cause was a crack in one of the valve springs. I don’t know much about cars but understand this is a difficult thing to identify. I highly recommend Bobby & Steve’s.

I called to check if I could get my vehicle looked at for a suspension issue. Not expecting to be able to be get right in, but that is exactly what happened. I was informed of the issue which was not major and was taken care of right away. I was not over sold or pressured. In fact they originally told me that any issue should be covered under warranty. It was simply handled and I was only charged for the cost of looking at my truck. On top of that I was given a voucher for a free car wash. You have to appreciate local owned businesses that care that you are their customer. Great service and a big thanks to all the guys at Bobby & Steve's on Old Shakopee Rd.

I had a metal mechanical piece replaced around my valve stem fixing a slow leak. The mechanic failed to mark the tire and the lead balance clip-on piece on the rim. Out of wack, the tire was imbalanced. I brought the car back days later. It was recommended I balance and rotate all four tires, costing me $60.00 plus tax. The car is perfect now. I know I was misled...not fair. You SHOULD compensate me. Fix what you broke.

Transmission went out on my 2017 Jeep Cherokee during the coldest afternoon of the year. The dealership service department said they wouldn't be able to look at it for a week. Called Mark at B&SAW and he got it on the lift that very day, confirmed that the transmission was toast, then inquired with another Jeep dealership about possible warranty coverage. (I was 718 miles over the 60k limit.) He gave me a quote then gave me time to call the national Jeep warranty line, just in case, even though that might lose him the service opportunity. Fortunately, Jeep came through and I had B&S tow the vehicle over to the dealership. Mark and Team had my best interests in mind from the very first call to the final tow. Super professional.

First of all, I hate Doing these. but I am basically a mechanic without the schooling. My transmission went out in my 2012 Malibu and didn't have the time to replace it. I called Mark and asked him what he would charge, and it seemed reasonable. They called me a few more times with issues they could fix while they were doing the transmission work,nSo long story short I had them do the work and it was only a couple hundred bucks above the quote, but they asked me about everything they found and only charged me for what I approved. Great experience!
