Running Aces Casino, Hotel & Racetrack

Review for hotel only, Apr 2021, weekend. Excellent staff, very clean, thoughtfully considered covid restrictions that didn't detract from the experience. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Staff was super on the ball and got us checked in quickly and with minimum fuss despite two very large blocks of groups also in the hotel that weekend. Breakfast was served individually to order very quickly and efficiently (from a limited menu) and was hot and tasty.

It was great. Beautiful. Only thing, ask for an even number room, they face the track. We arrived, entered room and noticed it faced the parking lot. All we touched was the phone to call the front desk. Only the phone. We were denied track side even though hotel was not highly occupied. Didn't really want to face the parking lot all weekend instead of the track scenery, but we bit it. Still had a good time as a whole. We enjoy the Running Aces, we will always go again. Good times.

This is my second time staying at the hotel here since my bf loves to play poker, we come here when we're visiting Mn. The hotel room itself is always neat and clean. Very comfortable to sleep and rest up. As far as for the casino, it's pretty small compare to other casinos and the food is ok not the best.

Update, they now have a hotel on site!nnFriendly employees and lots of variety of table games. Also has great food, but usually pretty busy and no hotel nearby. There are also no slots here.

Love the New Hotel. Fantastic lobby with a UNIQUE COFFEE TABLE. When they firstnopened the Breakfast Buffet was scrumptious. Due to Covid it's a pick-upn& take to your room. Wonderful Hot Tub.
