I had lunch at this particular Chicken Shack today. (I've eaten at 11 Chicken Shacks all toll.) The chicken was delicious as it is at most Chicken Shacks. The service was good as well. The real problem was the cleanliness, or lack of it, of the restaurant. This was one of the dirtiest restaurants I've ever been in. Litter was scattered all over the floor, including a used face mask. The window counter where folks can sit and eat was filthy. It looked like it hadn't been wiped down in days. Lastly, the two young ladies tending the counter both wore their masks under their noses which is completely ineffective. These conditions must be remedied and the manager should be held accountable.This particular restaurant will give Chicken Shack a bad name.
I used to be a huge fan of Chicken Shack and was super excited when they put one so close to our home. However, as time goes by, the quality of food, the attentiveness of the staff and the cleanliness of the restaurant has suffered, while prices increase regularly. It's really too bad. We definitely don't order from Chicken Shack as much as we once used to.nnThe last time we went, I entered and was ignored, because about 1 minute after I walked in, the cashier's cousin walked in, to order. One member of the entire staff was wearing their mask correctly. A very disappointing experience overall.
Called and placed an order. It takes 15 minutes to cook, which is fine for fresh chicken. I was on a time schedule and when I arrived she called every order but mine, said we don't have your order we have to put it in again. I did not because I couldn't wait the additional 15 minutes. I drove out of my way to come here as well. I love Chicken Shack-just not this one...
This is the second time I've had food missing from my order. This time I placed my order on line at 3:30 for a 4:30 pick up when I arrived they said it would be a couple minutes that they were putting my order together, 30 minutes later I received my order. When I got home to a hungry family we found half of the fish was burnt so bad it was like rocks and the shrimp I ordered was missing. I called and informed them they told me it would be ready in 20 minutes to come back and get it. I waited 25 minutes and went back, when I arrived they had no idea what I was talking about, then finally someone remembered talking to me on the phone and guess what I had to wait again for them to make it. Now I have spent a grand total of 1 hour of my day waiting for my order after working a 12 hour day and I wasn't even offered an apology for the lack of communication, leadership, quality control, organization ect. I truly believe that this place needs a good manager who will lead by example.
So I think they are not very efficient on online orders and door dash. I order take out at the cashier and got my food much faster than online orders and door dash. Second , probably not a good idea to order fried fish, the batter is too thick and once it got home it is meh.. if you come , just order chicken like other people. There was a crowd there so locals do like the food just online order is a mess
