The Alpine Township Historical Museum is located in the 1860 township hall, which was restored in 1987 and is now listed in the State Register of Historic Places. Collections include photo galleries of early settlers, 12 one-room schools, and more than 300 township veterans. Visitors can also view furniture and artifacts of pioneer families and an extensive file of township family histories and obituaries. Open by appointment. Free.
