Don't bother with these guys. They took 3 weeks to do a simple comforter cleaning and didn't at all alert us or keep us informed when they made multiple errors and had to send our comforter to the tailor! When I asked why, I wasn't convinced that the staff knew the reason and left me feeling very uncomfortable with what exactly had been done to this blanket that I will be sleeping with... will probably take it somewhere else to get cleaned again before I use it.

I had 7 of my blazers cleaned and 3 had notched collars (ones that are modern cut and don’t fold over). Sheldon tried to press a crease in them when it’s obvious that there shouldn’t be. These are now a wrinkly mess because the crease won’t stay (not enough material to fold anyway). I’m left with 3 expensive blazers that have jagged wrinkly collars. I will never use this cleaner again. A company as large and established as Sheldon should understand how modern business suits should be pressed. These were all from LOFT, not some off brand, strange type of clothing. See image below for type of blazer referenced.

Called and asked them what time their tailor was in until. The women on the phone said 4 o’clock. I spent time during my lunch break to go there to get the suit adjusted. only for the women I had spoken to not a hour earlier on the phone tell me that the tailor was not at this location. Not sure what the confusion was.

I took 4 rugs in to Monroe and Leonard. The lady could not find a tape measure so I gave her the measurements. She could not find the correct paperwork so they had to wait until the next day to be sent in. She could not give me a date for pick up and made me pay in full for each of the four rugs before she would take them. She said each rug had to be rung up separately so I had 4 charges on my credit card. I called a week later for a pick up date but the person I spoke to said about 2 weeks because they send the rugs out to Stanley Steamer. I called 5 days later and was told the 5 rugs (I had 4) were on the truck and would be ready for pickup today after 4 p.m. I arrived to pick up the rugs and was told I had paid a deposit on the rugs and I explained I had paid in full. I was also told 3 rugs were on the truck but they did not know where the 4th was. After I had the manager called she confirmed all 4 rugs were on the truck but the driver forgot to take them off the truck and leave them for me to pick up. I am now waiting from a call from customer service and the Monroe store to find out where my rugs are and when they will be delivered. Never again.

I have been a customer at Sheldon Cleaners on Leonard and Monroe for several years. There is a particular employee that gave me subpar customer service on two occasions stating I didn’t bring a belt in when I 150% know I did. The manager states that she will speak to this employee and get back to me, but has no gaurentees on making this right for me. I will NEVER go back to Sheldon Cleaners again and will suggest another company to my friends that is close by on Anne and Monroe. If you wish to continue service, I advise that you take pictures of what you submit to Sheldon’s when you drop off.
