Great family place to go. To learn about different things and how we lived back in old days. The people were so friendly and willing to answer questions.

Love this vintage farm and it's local historical event days . Love the homemade baked goods and bean soup. Love the homemade churned real butter and stone oven baked molasses cookies. I personally like the native American displays of merchandise and military encampments. What I enjoy the most here is the horse drawn wagon rides in the fall to see peak colors at the back wood line of the farm on a warm day. Although lines are getting too long and waiting time to stand in lines. Children should be free for the ride, so more younger generations will attend to see historical place and learning. Food can be pricey too. If you entrance fee, food, gifts and ride it all adds up quickly for a less fortunate young family with shortage of funds or elderly, ect. Good family fun oriented outings here and don't have to o drive all the way to Greenfield village

Very informative, real cabins with knowledgeable actors in historical wardrobe/fashion/ dialect. You can ask them anything about that era, and you WILL receive an answer. All proceeds are used 100% to the museum. All staff are volunteer only. They have a tractor day with volunteers bringing their refurbished yet perfect equipment. Christmas is beautiful, with all era decorations. The main home is filled withnantique furniture, fabrics, appliances, artwork and staff. Store is full of local natural honeys, handcrafted items, artwork, and souvenirs, which are very reasonably priced. Fresh, unpasteurized apple cider samples are free, and larger sized cider is available for purchase. Kids can see how cider is made using the actual equipment and ask questions. A cafe has beverages and food available for purchase, and ample seating. CASH ONLY Check out their Facebook page, and like/follow so you don't miss out!!! Time period toys are free to try, and staff will explain and assist in using them. A great time to be had for all! Sorry, but not handicapped accessible for 2nd story or attic.

Always a nice place to visit on a fall day! Sunshine is a real plus during Pioneer Day.

A visit to the past. Imagine what life was like on this mid 1800's era farm. History come alive. What a treasure!
