This is a great place to view history in action and partake in some adventures
Great place to take the kids and learn about history. Would recommend for anybody looking for something to do in the mackinaw area. The mill is amazing to see in action and the zip lining and nature area Are sure to keep you busy for hours.
Super cool history stuff. Some parts shut down due to COVID, but nonetheless it was a great experience. Very peaceful out there. Didn't catch the name of the gentleman doing the sawmill demonstration, but he was GREAT! Really knew his stuff and played the role excellent. All of the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
A lot of insight into local history you don’t get at other attractions. Caught the sawmill demonstration, forest creature presentation, and “Beyond the Mill” tour about how they pieced together the history of the Campbell farm and mill site. Guides were more than willing to answer questions and showed patience when our kids asked many off-topic questions. Didn’t walk any of the trails, but overall a great place to spend a few hours if your family likes nature and some history.
Been there in the past it was great but this time they were closed for season do I give them a 4 Star based on past visit
