I am the President of Operations for Operation Underground Railroad (OUR) and a retired 25 year veteran law enforcement officer. OUR recently contracted with SVCI to build a customized Mobile Forensics Lab which was then donated to a police department to use in their efforts to safeguard children - OUR’s primary mission. This was a very complex project requiring extraordinary creativity and technical expertise. This specialized asset was customized to meet the specs and technical needs of the PD who worked with Matt from conception to completion. I had frequent interaction with Matt throughout the project. I cannot speak more highly of Matt and his crew. Matt was the consummate professional from beginning to end. His team adapted and adjusted to mid-project changes where requested, and even offered very useful suggestions based on their experience with similar projects. The skill and artistry of Matt and his crew in creating such an impressive and functional asset is truly commendable. And just as important, Matt is genuinely pleasant to work with. I am the Assistant Chief of Police at the Vernal Police Department. I have worked with SVCI for several years and have nothing but praise for their workmanship, cooperation, customer service, and final product. My department helped design and purchased a Critical Incident trailer which was constructed to be utilized as a mobile command center, a mobile crime scene unit, and a portable forensic center. The trailer contains an all weather restroom, and the ability to operate everything from command center operations, operational briefings, to computer forensics. Once we expressed our basic concept, SVCI and their staff communicated continually and built exactly what we needed. They also constructed the trailer within our available resources with a plan and the ability to upgrade and improve the trailer in the future (which we have done). I am a police administrator for a large metropolitan police agency, and have 23 years of law enforcement experience. I have worked with this company for well over a decade. I was a member of a municipal SWAT team when I was introduced to SVCI and it's owner, Matt Stehno. My department had purchased a box truck for use as a SWAT transport vehicle and mobile command post. I took on the responsibility of facilitating the build out of the truck. I contacted multiple vendors for various aspects of the build out, receiving several bids in the process, before it was suggested that I contact SVCI. I met with Mr. Stehno and was impressed by his professionalism and the quality of the products he had on display. SVCI ended up doing the majority of the design and build out, as well as correcting several issues that were created by other vendors. To say that I was pleased with the outcome would be an understatement...the final product exceeded my expectations. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail, created a platform that is easy to operate, very functional, aesthetically pleasing and is a source of pride for myself and the department. Since the build out, we purchased numerous items from SVCI, including a tactical camera system that integrates with the audio and visual systems on the SWAT truck. Mr. Stehno stands by the work of SVCI and provided stellar customer service throughout the build out and for the years following, from receiving middle of the night phone calls to dropping everything and coming out to show us how to work something. I have repeatedly pointed people to SVCI, and continue to do so.
