Received an official in depth tour by Robert, which was phenomenal I mean I didn't want to leave. I learned so much I'm coming back and bringing others. The environment was so welcoming and warming at the end of my tour I got to chat with Dave Delemme, when I say a true treat. To get to speak to individuals whose personal artifacts and stories are what we are learning about inside the museum. It was so special. The pleasure was all mine, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. And you will too when you stop by!!!

The Otsego Area Museum is very quaint, full of exhibits all about the thriving community of Otsego and it's surrounding areas. Come and see exhibits about how Otsego started as a community, how it endured during the war years, the lost civilization of Pine Creek, and its industrialization through Bardeen's Paper Mill. The museum is located in the old water works building at the beginning of Otsego's Riverwalk, and has some impressive views of the river. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, and are more than willing to give tours. Otsego and Plainwell residents won't be disappointed here when learning of their rich local history.
