Unified Police Shafts Accident Victims. Officer Easton Story (Holladay precinct) ignorantly & irresponsibly did not interview me, as the victim in an accident, on the scene. At the hospital at the ER Officer Story threatened to give me a ticket when I complained. Direct retaliation in response to a complaint to him, and a violation of the First Amendment right to complain to the gov re problems. The other driver who hit me most likely ran a red light. Story failed to interview Me as the victim, on the scene. And at the hospital, he basically treated me like a liar. Officer Story was incredulous, unhelpful, and a bully - and as noted he threatened me with a ticket when I complained about his inappropriate actions. Resultantly deemed "at fault" with the auto insurances, because the other driver didn't receive a ticket and because in the highly faulty Abusive Officer Story drafted police report showed me at fault, even though I Had A Green Light to proceed. The logistics of the intersectoin made it highly unlikely that the other driver did anything other than run their red light. I was cheated by inappropriate investiation by Officer Story. Zero interviewing Of Me on the scene. And when he did speak to me at the hospital, he called me a liar. Stupid, ignorant, obstude, and lazy - Officer Story's response. Wrote to the County Sheriff. Received no positive response nor remediation - just mostly inaction so as to protect their dysfunctional and abusive bureaucracy. UNIFIED POLICE SHAFTS ACCIDENT VICTIMS. There's zero accountability with the County Sheriff who is over UPD. I sent a very detailed complaint outlining in exacting details what happened and what Officer Story did wrong. Zero, accountability. These people put people's lives at risk, and certainly the lives & health & well being of accident victims. UPD cannot be trusted to treat accident victims fairly. A "good looking woman" who Causes an accident, will be given preference over a male victim of such a woman, to people such as Officer Story. He believes her, apparently because she's "cute," and me, the one carried off to the ER, he & UPD gives the shaft to. Again zero interviewing of Me on the scene. Plus, Impossible Logistics in my view regarding the other driver having any right to proceed - clearly they ran a right light. I had a green light turning left. The other drive basically came out of nowhere and they cut in front of me - apparently trying to run their own red light. Officer Story, UPD, and the County Sheriff, are all irresponsible people & groups who should not have anything to do with auto accident investigations or handling.

As regards Unified Police. The Taylorsville Precinct is "a mess" and refuses to address issues with several instances of officer misconduct. UPD also passed along my concern about an officer to a very hostile and uninvolved third-party, who since published the info in ongoing harassment against me. UPD, meanwhile, wouldn't respond to a query. At the moment, I struggle to understand why ANY municipality is contracting with UPD. I don't doubt still that there are many great officers. But administration in UPD and this "game" of ignore misconduct and refusing to respond is an affront to society. Shame.

Who can you call about organized crime when the police have been taken over or controlled by an invisable entity.

Experienced an accident with someone we babysit and Officer Washington responded. The Officer was excellent with traffic management and helpful giving us directions when we arrived on the scene. Thank you for your helpful service to our city and taking care of the person we are babysitting so kindly before we arrived!

The service here it's great. I really enjoy their accommodation. The officers there are really good at what they do as well as the stuff. I Recommended that uniforms for nurses be updated every often. But while I was taken I can barely fit in the back of the small car.
