Nice, small museum with paintings, installations, and a sculpture garden. I loved a lot of the art here and I would definitely recommend as good place to stop by for an hour if you are in the area. The museum is right on the water and the view from the garden is lovely.
A hidden gem, less than a mile out of town and a lovely walk. It's the perfect size museum, I think: maybe five rooms, which usually house a few different shows, plus gorgeous gardens and views outside with dozens of sculptures. I visit every year and it's always a treat. You can see everything in two hours and the staff is very informative. They've got good safety features in place for the virus, so a safe place to spend a rainy afternoon or even get out of the sun for a bit.
I saw a few decent paintings, then took a look at sculpture garden, which is ok. Sitting on shaded bench with view and sound of waves was best part. I suppose calling it a gallery would spook people. $12 is fair, all things considered.
Interesting collection with emphasis on the competing Oganquit schools started over 100 years ago. Well presented. Beautiful sculpture garden on the water with your typical great Maine harbor view
Really nice museum. A bit pricey for the size, but we still enjoyed it. The outdoor gardens and exhibits really added.
