Seems the staff are overwhelmed. I placed a order for pickup, when I arrived the staff didn't acknowledge me or any other customers for at least ten minutes. When I finally got a staff members attention he seemed a bit agitated that he hadn't had a smoke break yet, I showed my order, as he was continually complain. I realize these times during the pandemic are challenging for everyone. Other than a awkward interaction with staff the food was good.
Usually great. But the last few times I've gone inside to pickup my order, my food was sitting out on the counter from the oven (uncovered), & the employees are goofing off on the other side of the counter. I had to interrupt them for them to acknowledge us customers, & to finish packaging our orders.
Great little Amato place! Very suitable + affordable.
Being from Maine there is something magical about a Italian sandwich from Amatos. Never disappoints.
Very good food take out and sitting.
