What a Great orientation to Riverside Elementary School. Mrs. Sherwood the 1st grade teacher had scheduled her parents and students in small groups throughout the day. When we got to the class all of the things she wanted us to have were sitting at each child's desk. We were lined up single file. Our students first with parents in tow. Then we walked around the school, to the bathrooms, the office, the recess and morning line up areas.All the while Mrs. Sherwood was teaching us the rules, parking lot courtesy, Morning line up with a cue to look for the flag pole. We visited the cafeteria and were taught which tables we could sit at. Where our food could be collected. The library would be taught to the children at a later date. Parents were also complemented on our single file line and the quiet way we walked through the halls :) . The children giggled. In the classroom we sat and went over a communication organizer binder called, THE GO BOOK". A tool no teacher, student or parent should be without. It left you with a feeling that the school cared and was ready to teach your child. We left with back to school date reminders ringing in our ears . I give 5 stars to Riverside elementary School !

I am in 4th grade, and the school has great education, wish we had more too eat tho.

its a very great school Mr.Lutz helps the six graders ready for not 7 grade but for 8th grade he knows what he doing very well

Great school wish the kids had more time to eat and did fun active things in the gym on rainy or snow days.

Both of my children attended Riverside. Great teachers
