My dad is in a wheelchair and I'm grateful that the set up and staff are wheelchair friendly. The smoking room is also a major plus and why we come here over anywhere else. All in all, even though I constantly lose, we have fun and the reasons stated above make a huge difference. Thanks!
Parking is not ideal. The level where the walkway is located is always full.nCheck in went smoothly as always. Staff were friendly, quick and on point. :)nRoom was perfect ( clean and comfortable).nLaurel Lounge is open on the weekends.nIt was a clean and pleasant experience.nThey bring your food and drinks to you.nCasino was very busy. I did see a lot of people hitting on machines. The casino and hotel are both non smoking.
My husband and I decided to get out the house for some adult fun, after discovering the casinos in Illinois were back open. We were informed the gaming hours were from 8am-11pm. We arrived at 9pm, and I figured 2 hours would be enough time for us to play since closing was at 11pm. At 10:30pm we were being told by the casinos security to cash out, because they were closing. I turned to the security officer and stated to him it's not 11pm yet and I was under the assumption that they closed at 11pm. He stated closing time is at 10:30pm, because they have to clean and sanitize the building, which i can definitely understand. But why advertise gaming hours are from 8am-11pm if it's actually 10:30pm. Those 30 minutes make a difference. Especially for adults who barely get out the house.nNot to mention, because the security officers were rushing everyone off their machine's, now you have a crowd of people at each ticket redeeming machine trying to cash out.
Much smaller than it looks from the outside...my wife whom I love did not win...hence only 3 stars. My wife being a winner = 5 stars.
The Harris was safe, enjoyable, fun, creative. New machines a lot of enjoyment me and my wife say, Thank you for having us
