Always Plumbing

I would definitely recommend always plumbing and use them again for future issues. I mainly dealt with Jim who was absolutely professional and seemed sincerely concerned about our situation. We had a gas leak at our mobile home and needed everything repiped. It took us two weeks looking for contractors to come and fix this. Nobody wanted to do it. But I got a hold of Jim and he was out here the next day to give us an estimate. I don’t think it was an easy fix. He couldn’t fix it the first time he came out. So he was back within two days to fix it completely. I have heat and water again thanks to him.

Set up an appointment for 2:00 to get a quote on some plumbing work. I was still waiting at 2:20, so I called to get a status update. I was told the representative would be there shortly. Called back several times to get a status between 2:45 and 4:05. Always Plumbing did not pick up any of these times, nor did they call me back to provide an update or reschedule. Their lack of communication was extremely unprofessional.

They came out for a second opinion for my water heater per my insurance company. Guy was knowledgeable about code and fixing the issue. Unfortunately they were only a second opinion and not the actual installers. Thanks for the help anyhow.

Was referred to always plumbing. The lady who scheduled the appointment was very friend. I was told I was going to get Jim (the gentlemen I was referred to) but Dave, I believe his name was, showed up.nnDave was professional and on time but no call to let me know they were on their way like the lady scheduling the appointment said they would.nnHe fixed the main corroded pipe that caused me to call plus a toilet issue he found while removing it to get to the pipe and upgraded how the draining was set up under the sink. I appreciated all of that.nnHe offered to clean everything up which I appreciated but wish clean up was done better. Have some stains on my tile I’m currently having a hard time getting up to include blue toilet water stains.nnWished I would have been shown receipts for materials so it didn’t seem like he just made a number out of thin air for materials. Also wish I would have been told by him or the girl scheduling appointments that they charge even for driving time to go get parts.nnI appreciated how fast he worked and never acted like he was trying to “suck away the clock time.” I also appreciated availability. They were available next day from when I called.nnAt the end of the day $80 an hour is on the better deal side for Quad Cities plumbing and one of the few people I could find that was willing to come out and not charge for inspection. That’s a huge selling point.nnThey charged me 2 hours at $160 plus $56 in parts plus $16 in tax for a total of $232 to get the plumbing issue, I called about fixed, plus getting two additional things taken care of. I would recommend them to friends in the future.

Was running late and did not bother to call and say anything. Utility sink still leaking at pipe below which was corroded and should have been replaced along with faucet. Did not really explain what whole job entailed. Poor workmanship. Sorry but communication is key for good customer service. As a fellow business owner I believe in good communication and explain how job is going to be done.
