Crystal Lake Express Car Wash

I'm impressed. It's the most intelligently designed automated car wash I've ever encountered. It does a good job at a much lower price than you'd pay at places that do an inadequate job of vacuuming. (I do a better job using their system and in less time). They chose a good site with lots of room for those busy days when we all just want to get the salt off and go home.

As far as automated car washes go, my cars have never been cleaner! All the nooks and crannies even the wheels/tires get super clean. Perhaps it's because they are new machines or the latest technology? In any case best automatic car wash I've experienced!

The premium wash leaves your vehicle very happy! I totally recommend this wash to anyone that appreciates a very clean car. The automatic tire dressing is impressive, as are the dryers- there is not much water left on the car after going through the mega wind tunnel.

Used the dog wash and the car wash. Since I didn't see any reviews for the dog wash, I'll start with that. Today it's 18 degrees out. Normally I wouldn't wash the dog when it's this cold but she really needed it. The private room is convenient. You park right in front of the door and walk in. There are big stairs to get into the tub...which was a challenge because my dog didn't want to use them. It's cash only and 7 min only. You can't add another few minutes and pay accordingly, which sucked because I could have used another 3 min. The room was not heated well, so we may not use this again until summer. It takes a while for the water to get warm and your countdown clock ticks away while you wait. There were nice choices for shampoo including skunk odor remover. Dryer is almost like their vacuums, but in reverse. My dog didn't love that part and we can out of time before she was totally dry. Bring your own towels. I brought 3 heavy beach towels and used them all. Better than trying to get this big bluetick coonhound into our tub at home!nnCar wash: used the $3 express because it's supposed to snow again in 2 days so it will get gross again. Washed well except for the tailgate area. Left a bigger dirty spot than Matt's does. I thought the dryers are better than Matt's. There were more of them and my SUV was pretty much dry by the time it was over.

I have come to this wash twice in the last few weeks and happy to have a drive-thru car wash on my back from grocery shopping but you are lacking in two areas compared to other similar car washes: 1. Nobody sprays the back of your vehicle after they direct you in. The attendants just stare at you. This is needed in the winter and summer. If this is not changed, I will not be back. 2. Your car mat “washers” do nothing. Either they are not hooked up to any cleaning solution/water or they are just there. Go check out Rocket wash in Kenosha to see how it should be done. Fix these issues, 5 star.
