Right before you enter the beach, you'll find Winthrop Harbor's Metra Station. A very quaint and peaceful place that's quite homely inside. There's also a little free library, with books provided by Zion-Benton Public Library and people who've stopped by.
Super convenient to get anywhere from Kenosha to Chicago.
Need a car to operate in Zion and Kenosha area keep all options open within driving range the train schedules are not convenient most of the times..
Has a beautiful big beach, many stores, restaurants, and hotels.
