Always look forward to visiting The National Infantry Museum. It's free, but there is a suggested donation of $5 recommended, which is well worth it. We learn so much each time we go. Impossible to see all exhibits in one day. Gift shop is great too, reasonable prices. Several memorial exhibits outside as well such as the Vietnam Wall to see. After visiting the museum you will have a greater appreciation for our service men & women. Heroes all. Highly recommend! Handicap accessible.
I loved the NIM, I just visited today as it was open to us trainees only.I will be marching on the field for my graduation in a few days. I am Honored and grateful for this. Ran by ex military personnel; great and sincere people. The museum has a great layout and is chocked full of the Infantryman's history, and some armored history as well. I 100% recommend with high praise.
Definitely the best free museum I have ever visited! Impressive attention to detail and exhibits that were both moving and educational. I just came upon it and so glad I spent an hour here, could have spent another hour for sure!
Nice place to visit, Very special if you have a soldier in your family.
Keep your eye on the dates when open. Hard to tell by website. Worth seeing!
