I can't really rate the museum because we couldn't get in. Everything we could find, including this guide, indicates that it is open on Friday from 9 to 4. Doors locked, no answer at either number, no sign indicating why it is closed.nnThis is the main local museum I wanted to see. Finding it closed any time is a disappointment, but I find it hard to believe that someone thought it was a good idea to close the weekend of the George Washington Carver Festival.

This was a real nice place to visit. The best part was that it is FREE. Enjoy it

Mr. Theo gave us a fantastic tour of the first floor, and intro to the 2nd, then let us view the upstairs exhibits at our own pace. This museum is definitely worth go to if you're in Tuskegee and wanting to learn about history (especially, but not only, medical ethics) that has deeply impacted each of us, and continues to do so.

My tour of The Gathering Exhibition at the Legacy Museum was phenomenal!! The staff at the Legacy Museum were very friendly and knowledgeable! I was so impressed to learn just how much Tuskegee University has contributed to the fields of agriculture, nursing, veterinary studies, science research and bioethics, & more!! What an honor it was to be standing in what used to be a Hospital where children actually came to be treated for polio!nnGoogle Maps took me right to the museum! & I entered through the side doors of the Bioethics building connected to the museum!!
