Beverly Heritage Center

A pretty nice place for such a small area. I really enjoyed the pictures of the native american groups that first inhabited the area.

Felt very welcomed by the staff. He was very helpful and made the experience very welcoming and informative.

Thanks so much to the staff and volunteers for such a well managed regional history museum. Our family donated our grandfather's World War I uniform and personal effects and the staff has done such a wonderful job ensuring that the artifacts are preserved and interpreted. Thanks so much for all of your hard work in retelling and interpreting our region's rich history. Keep up the great work!

Fantastic visit! I am so grateful for the helpful information in locating some details of my family history. Chris helped by suggesting some places in Beverly where we may find markers of the Files and Tygart cabins: found! And Justin suggested some titles of different publications where we might find some more historical details, and sent us next door to see Deb, who sold us her last copy of a handwritten and hand-illustrated account of Beverly history, written by Carolyn Respass. The Heritage Center looks amazing! Excellent curation in the museum, and my son loved serving as Judge (he fined me $200, but will let me pay it off over time). Many thanks to Justin and Chris for the excellent historical information and suggestions. Any visitors center or Heritage museum would be blessed to have them on their staff, and I'm sure Beverly is very thankful for their stewardship.
